These general conditions of sale apply to all orders and deliveries between the company CHICANIMAUX and its customers. The customer must read it before any purchase on the CHICANIMAUX site.
CHICANMAUX reserves the right to modify the online store at any time, including these yerms of sale. The customer must refer to the Terms in effect at the terms of sale.
By accepting the General Conditions of Sale, the customer accepts and agrees to have also read the General Conditions of Use as well as the Legal Notices.
CHICANIMAUX is registered with the RCS Tourcoing (metropolitan France) under SIRET 831 647 177 number.
CHICANIMAUX uses the French language to communicate with its customers.
CHICANIMAUX offers a choice of accessories, treats and hygienic products for pets. You will find different categories of accessories as well as a variation of the products.
The personal data entered by the customer is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. In accordance with the CNIL and RGPD information. CHICANIMAUX being a micro-enterprise the VAT is not applicable in the European Union. Customers who buy outside the European Union may have to pay tax and VAT.
All our prices are expressed in EUROS (€) and inclusive of tax, they can be modified at any time. Our prices are sales prices recommended by our suppliers. All prices quoted are without delivery costs. Delivery costs are available upon validation of the basket and are set by our service providers (see DELIVERY paragraph).
When the order is confirmed by CHICANIMAUX, the customer receives a confirmation email. CHICANIMAUX undertakes to notify the customer of the advance of his order (order validation, order preparation, order dispatch).
If the order is paid by credit card via the PayPal account, it will be processed as soon as possible. In case of payment by bank transfer, the customer has two solutions, either wait until CHICANIMAUX receives the transfer and in this case the order is processed later,either he contacts CHICANIMAUX and the transfer order made . The order will then be processed as soon as possible. The customer can inform of his choice when ordering. Without transfer from the customer within eight days the order will be canceled.
During sales periods, products are sold only according to available stocks, NO orders are made out of stock. The available stocks are visible to everyone on the product sheet.
Depending on the full of orders, orders can be sent within 2 to 3 days, it is still possible to track your order via your personal account. CHICANIMAUX undertakes to warn its customers of advance orders. If for various reasons the delivery time is found to be higher, CHICANIMAUX will make a commercial gesture to be valid on the next order.
Stocks are available on the sheet for each product. NO sale is made out of stock. The customer can request to be alerted by e-mail of the return of the products to the store.
By accepting the Terms of Sale you accept that the invoice will be sent to you electronically. Exception for international shipments.
Right to retract
5- Right of return
Customers (not professional) are consumers in this respect, they have a right of withdrawal 14 days upon receipt of the order (Law No. 2014-34 and L.221-18 of the Consumer Code). For any withdrawal the customer must contact CHICANIMAUX, the product (s) must be returned before the deadline of 14 days. We will then proceed to reimbursement. The customer can use his right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the day after receipt of his order. No justification will be asked. No penalty can be retained against the customer, only the cost of returning the goods remains at his expense.
It is excluded from the right of withdrawal all open and used articles as well as press (magazines), perishable product (food, candy), care and hygiene product (cream, spray, brush ...). All damaged, incomplete, damaged, soiled products. Any unpacked product that cannot be put back on sale.
Upon receipt of the goods CHICANIMAUX will reimburse the returned product (s) and their delivery costs. The refund will be made by the same means of payment as chosen when ordering. 6- Damaged package, unformed products
In the event of non-conformity of the product, the customer informs CHICANIMAUX by the means made available to him. Additional information will be requested from the customer, CHICANIMAUX undertakes to respond as soon as possible. An exchange or refund of product will be made depending on the reason.
The quality of our products is our main commitment to the client and his companions. We are looking for the best possible qualities from our partners.
If a package arrives damaged and it turns out that the items are damaged, the customer must inform CHICANIMAUX within 48 hours by email by bringing one or more photos to support the request. CHICANIMAUX will send a second product, without additional shipping costs. We will make a complaint to the delivery company. CHICANIMAUX will take the necessary measures to return damaged goods.
In the event that the customer subscribes to insurance upon request for delivery, it is imperative to contact CHICANIMAUX as soon as possible in order to initiate the procedure with said insurance.
No banking information is recorded on the CHICANIMAUX site.
Payment by credit card via STRIPE or PAYPAL, are a secure payment method DSP2 and 3D secure meeting European standards. Paypal payment is made on the PayPal site (optional registration) and STRIPE directly on the CHICANIMAUX site. No banking data is kept on the CHICANIMAUX site. The virtual bank cards provided by your banks can be used on these payment methods.
With Paypal you can pay in 4 installments for a minimum amount of € 100. When paying for the order via Paypal, the customer depending on the amount can choose to pay in 4 monthly payments. This service is entirely managed by Paypal. This offer is subject to conditions (see here). ChicAnimaux does not enter into the transaction between paypal and the customer. ChicAnimaux will not be held responsible for any disputes between the customer and Paypal. This payment offer in 4 installments by Paypal is a consumer credit before subscribing to check your repayment capacities.
The bank transfer is made by the customer to the CHICANIMAUX account. He does not need to transmit his bank details (RIB) at any time, only the transfer order can be requested in order to process the order more quickly for the benefit of the customer.

7-2 : Fight against fraud
CHICANIMAUX keeps the articles until the customer has paid in full for the order. The customer makes his payment via the means available to him (bank card via PayPal, bank transfer). If it turns out that the registered customer places his order and has already had problems (fraud or unpaid); he will be refused the order placed in the shop. The customer is informed of the cancellation of his order as well as the deletion of his account on the online store. Similarly, the customer will be saved in a file (for default of payment) computerized by the company CHICANIMAUX. And this until regularization of his situation.

8 : Delivery by carrier
CHICANIMAUX applies shipping costs for all orders below 60 €. Beyond that, CHICANIMAUX offers shipping costs for deliveries in France. If we are forced to send the order in several packages, the customer will only be billed for one shipment.
For orders in the European Union, shipping costs are free from 70 € FOR MONDIAL RELAY.
Once the delivery method chosen by the customer, it is impossible to change the carrier.
Order shipments are made on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from the date of dispatch the delivery time is 3 to 7 days (for information). Depending on the carrier you are informed of the approximate delivery date.Warning ! Following the events, the delivery days may be adapted in relation to the delivery provider. (see article 8.2)
All packages are delivered against signature of the client except tracked letter. If it turns out that after 7 working days the customer has not received their order, we ask that you contact us. We will immediately initiate a complaint with the delivery company. If it turns out that the delivery company has lost the CHICANIMAUX package, it undertakes a second shipment at no additional cost or refund.
All shipments (package and letter tracked) are made with the possibility of tracking if the customer notices a stagnation or non-tracking of the shipment, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible. In order to make arrangements with the delivery company.
CHICANIMAUX cannot be held responsible for a longer delivery time, we are totally dependent on the delivery companies.

8-3 : Handover by CHICANIMAUX
Shipping costs are free of charge. It is possible in certain cities of the Lille metropolitan area Hauts de France region in France (Metropolis) and Mouscron in Belgium.
The following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Once your order has been confirmed and payment has been made, You will be notified of the delivery by e-mail the day before.
If however you encounter a last minute unavailability, please notify us quickly by e-mail (see handing right at the top or bottom of the site). A new delivery appointment will then be offered to you.

If CHICANIMAUX does not receive a response within 24 to 48 hours, the customer receives a reminder. If the customer does not respond within 24 hours, the order is cancelled and refunded immediately.
9 : Our guarantees
Satisfying our customers is our priority. With this in mind, we guarantee our customers the delivery of their purchase on the CHICANIMAUX online store. Any delivery whose package has been damaged and which by this same fact would have damaged the goods must be the subject of a report to the company. 10 : customs
For all shipments to countries spanking the European Union are exempt from customs clearance fees and taxes.
Any shipment outside the European Union is subject to possible customs duties and taxes, the payment of which will be requested from the customer before or during delivery. The customer will be contacted using the information provided during the delivery request.
Whatever the reason for the shipment (return, repair, gift, sample or sale) the customer must complete customs procedures requested by the local authorities. These are available on the site customs.gouv.fr
The customer who makes a delivery outside France, must inform himself of his rights to import the products. CHICANIMAUX cannot be held responsible for the seizure of the goods ordered.
CHICANIMAUX uses a service provider to make deliveries. We have no control over the costs to be borne by the customer during customs clearance. Customs clearance rates are established by the competent authorities.
Cross-border orders may be checked and opened by customs authorities in accordance with the law.
For customers OUTSIDE France, it is advisable to inquire before any order.

11 : litigation
